Who writes this
I am a travel writer and independent publisher. I visited Porto twice, in July 2017 and again at Easter 2018. I am not a resident and I do not pretend to be one, so the credibility of this site does not rest on local status. It rests on checking things and showing the working.
What that means in practice
Every price comes from the page of whoever charges it, with the date I checked it written next to the figure. When a number cannot be verified, the page says so instead of repeating what other guides claim. When I have not done something myself, the page says that too.
